Forbes magazine publishes an annual list of the best corporate brands. They are systematic and methodical about this, making their list fact rather than opinion. The list is based on companies active in the US but, as you will see, they are all also very active in the UK and Europe.
London’s Best Corporate Office
The best companies compete to attract the best people. The simplest way to get ahead is, of course, to pay more. But some companies, and employees, see beyond that one figure and look at the quality of life that goes with the job. That’s down to the office
COVID, of course, changed everything. People got to like working from home. Companies found that people worked just as effectively from home, and are getting used to the idea of paying a lot less money for a lot less office space. Plus, with winter coming and energy costs (like energy in a badly insulated office) going through the roof, the idea of employees paying for their own workspace heating looks better and better. Despite that, companies want their employees to come back, at least for part of the time. One way to persuade them to come back, rather than to job hunt, is to make the office more attractive.
